Center for Entrepreneurial Development

The Entrepreneurship Development Centre is a structure designed to welcome and support students and graduates of higher education and scientific research institutions who have business projects, with a view to enabling them to bring their ideas to fruition and set up their own micro-enterprises. Establishment: In accordance with the cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Start-ups and Micro-enterprises, and on the occasion of the National Student Entrepreneurship Forum held on 13 July 2023 at the International Conference Centre, the launch of entrepreneurship development centres was announced as an alternative to the role of entrepreneurship in Algerian universities. On 20 November 2023, the Entrepreneurship Development Centre was classified as a joint research interest under Executive Decree No. 23 -410 of 20 November 2023, supplementing Executive Decree No. 12-293 of 21 July 2012, which defines the tasks, organisation and functioning of joint scientific research interests.

1. Accompanying students carrying out innovative projects.
2. Spreading and establishing a culture of entrepreneurship in universities.
3. Providing an environment suitable for students to establish their start-ups and micro-enterprises.
4. Providing consulting and specialised training in business management.
5. Linking the university to the economic and social environment.
