The tasks of the English Language Training Monitoring Unit are as follows:

  1. English language training monitoring: Ensuring continuous monitoring of the quality of courses and programs offered.
  2. Pedagogical content improvement: Identifying and proposing ways to develop curricula and teaching methods in line with learners’ needs.
  3. Support for teachers and students: Providing pedagogical and professional support to teachers, and offering academic guidance to students in learning English.

The objectives of monitoring English language training are as follows:

  1. Organizing training workshops for teachers in order to develop their pedagogical skills.
  2. Collecting statistics and evaluating English language training content delivered across different faculties.
  3. Organizing a study day on issues related to the English language in higher education.
  4. Establishing strategic academic partnerships.
  5. Developing pedagogical tools and resources that meet the needs of teachers and students, and designing English for Specific Purposes (ESP) programs tailored to each faculty.
